Sauced

Well, I love pasta.

I definitely do not discriminate. Fettuccine, penne, spaghetti and then add the delicious range of sauces, carbonara, pesto, bolognese...oh the possibilities are endless.

I am pleased to tell you my fellow pasta lovers, that I have may have found heaven for us, and a reasonably priced heaven, situated on upper chapel street. This gem goes by the name of Sauced.

The idea of sauced is that you select your sauce from their menu and then go on to select your favourite fresh pasta to pair with it. I couldn't think of anything more delicious!

This is the creamy basil pesto sauce with fresh penne topped with copious amounts of parmesan cheese. I ordered the regular size for $13 and it was quite large, I could barely eat it all. The fresh ciabatta on the side to mop up the sauce was an added bonus too.

With the restaurants large range of sauces and fresh pasta options, I would love to be visiting Sauced all the time, if only it was in my neck of the woods. Nevertheless I will definitely be back sometime in the near future. Sauced gets 10 out of 10 for me for both cost and flavour.
